When
people head off to college or university, they often grow very attached to
their chosen school. Schools around the country try to grow this pride in their
students. It's almost always harmless and in good fun; many people should
rightfully be proud of the schools they attended and graduated from. After all,
the school helped you learn more about yourself, your profession, and the
world, so people often feel grateful for the institution’s existence.
Chad
Harp has always had a fondness for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He
graduated from the school in 2012 after completing his undergraduate degree in
political science. Chad Harp graduated magna cum laude with a cumulative GPA of
3.96, reflecting his professionalism and work ethic in everything he
undertakes.
The
University of Nevada, Las Vegas was founded in 1957. The public university
currently has an endowment of just under $170 million dollars. With this money,
the school can support an undergraduate population of around 22,000 students
and a postgraduate population of over 6,000. The location of the school isn't
far from the Las Vegas strip, which means that the university consistently
ranks in the top schools for hospitality programs throughout the US. The
university is also home to the state of Nevada’s only dental school and its
only law school.
Chad Harp loved his studies and his political
science program so much that he decided to apply for the MBA graduate program
at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was accepted and will begin his MBA
program in the fall of 2013. Chad Harp is looking forward to applying his
excellent academic skills in the program. Had he not made the decision to attend
the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Chad Harp isn't sure what his life would
be like right now.
